April 18th-Game one-Cubs 2 Giants 1

Chicago's Jim Hickman smacked a two run homer off Giants lefty Ron Bryant in the top of the sixth to erase a 1-0 San Francisco lead and give the Cubs a 2-1 win at Candlestick Park in the first game of a doubleheader.
Hickman's one out homer was all the runs that Milt Pappas would need as Pappas went the distance in earning the win as he scattered nine hits.
Ron Bryant allowed just two runs over seven innings in falling to 0-3 on the season.
Tito Fuentes had three hits for the Giants, who fell to 8-4 with the defeat.
Game two of the double dip will be played later today...
